Dito Telecommunity Expands Mobile Services To 17 More Areas

The Philippine telco industry's new player DITO Telecommunity has boosted its presence with 17 more areas now covered by its mobile services.

DITO adds 17 more areas

The company announced on Thursday the commercial expansion of its mobile services, less than a month after it commercially launched its network to over 100 cities last June 12.

Following our June 12 announcement of DITO being commercially available in 123 cities as a means to commemorate the 123rd Independence Day celebration, we are pleased to inform everyone that we have added 17 new areas as of June 30, said DITO Chief Administrative Officer Atty. Adel Tamano.

The new areas are as follows:

• Gen. Mamerto, Nueva Ecija
• Rizal, Nueva Ecija
• Amadeo, Cavite
• Indang, Cavite
• Mendez, Cavite
• Padre Garcia, Batangas
• Rosario, Batangas
• San Juan, Batangas
• Silay City Negros Occidental
• Balingasag, Misamis Oriental
• Talisayan, Misamis Oriental
• Manticao, Misamis Oriental
• Sugbongcogon, Misamis Oriental
• Medina, Misamis Oriental
• Kinoguitan, Misamis Oriental
• Binuangan, Misamis Oriental
• Balingoan, Misamis Oriental

DITO claimed Filipinos residing in these areas will now have access to "stronger connectivity."

The group is also extending its 199 and 99 promos until end-July.

For the whole month of July, new and existing subscribers can avail of DITO's 25GB of high-speed data for 30 days with unlimited texts to all networks, unlimited DITO-to-DITO calls, and 300 minutes of calls to other mobile networks for only PHP 199.

Another value-for-money promo available to DITO subscribers is the DITO 99 offer with 10GB of data for 30 days for only PHP 99, unlimited DITO to DITO calls, 300 minutes of calls to all mobile networks, and unlimited SMS to all networks.
